Patrick D. Quirk is a proven software executive with more than 35 years of experience in enterprise software, research and development, marketing and sales and global operations focused on supply chain and procurement. Currently President and CEO of ORCA Equities, LLC, an angel investment firm focusing on software and real estate, Pat has been described by one of his colleagues as a “visionary executive whose dynamic persona truly inspires and motivates everyone around him.” Quirk is also currently acting as the Executive Chairman of two organizations: Pramata, which enables large enterprises to eliminate revenue leakage, and the Financial Fitness Group, which reduces financial risk in organizations by improving the personal financial well-being of their employees. Pat has been the President and CEO of several companies, including Vendavo, a pricing optimization solution; Achievers, the leading company in employee recognition and rewards software and Emptoris, a leader in sourcing spend analytics, contracting, risk management and telecom expense management. Pat served in his role at Emptoris for four years, successfully growing the company globally by 300% and managing its acquisition by IBM in 2012. Prior to Emptoris, Pat held senior roles at GoldenGate Software (acquired by Oracle) and PeopleSoft, where he became well-known for leading the $1.7 billion acquisition of JD Edwards—the largest software acquisition in ERP history at the time. Pat obtained his BS in Industrial Engineering from UW-Madison in 1979. In his free time he enjoys skiing, golfing, surfing, watching Badgers and Packers football, volunteering and spending time with his family and friends.
