Debbie's Biography

Debbie is Chief Sourcing Officer of Huntington National Bank. She is a member of the Sourcing Industry Group Thought Leadership Council, the SIG University Advisory Board and leads the Steering Committee of the Risk Management Association’s Third Party Management Round Table. 


  • Awards: SIG lifetime achievement award, Risk Management Association Special Service Award for work on the RMA Third Party Risk Management Roundtable 2015 through 2017 

  • Community involvement:  Chair American Red Cross Buckeye Region; United Way TaxTime (IRS VITA) tax preparation for low- to moderate-income clients 2012 to present; United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council 2011 to present 

  • Leader of the Huntington Women's Network Business Resource Group increasing the membership from 800 to over 1,000 with a high concentration in the promotable pipeline of AVP/VP.  Key accomplishments include influencing the establishment of a caregiver's policy to increase the available time for a new mother on maternity leave from six weeks with the first week requiring PTO to up to 12 weeks with the first week fully paid; and establishment of a Women in Leadership program targeted at improving specific areas of development noted in research and focus. 

  • Procurement: 

  • Transformation of the procurement organization at KeyBank - Assisted the leader of Key's Procurement Reengineering Initiative in centralizing 16 disparate state banking accounts payable units and forming a strategic sourcing initiative. GEAC to Oracle AP and Purchasing conversion and subsequently Ariba Buyer and Expense Report implementation across 22,000 employees.    

  • Development of metrics and reporting to enable to Huntington procurement organization to “run like a business” in managing deal pipelines and providing actionable reporting for businesses to identify opportunities to meet budget targets. 

  • Contributions to SIG: 

  • SIG University Advisory Board, providing insight into course development and ongoing thought leadership. 

  • Member of SIG Resource Center (and significant contributor of content including staffing models, job descriptions, metric dashboards, RFP templates, etc.) and the thought leadership council (the complex outsourcing relationship series was particularly beneficial to our membership).
